Trathus Varr, wizard of warmth

I'm still working on getting perfectly blended highlights on some of these newst reaper minis. This is the most detailed piece ive ever done so i gave it a large scenic base - the slate rock is actually a plaster casting from a piece of bark, and realistic water was used for the swamp section. Only a very slight shot at a light source from the staff tip (i didn't want to go all the way just yet) but i'll definately do a much brighter light source on a less detailed mini in the future. The colours for the pseododragon were taken from the one in the d&d monster manual. Thanks for looking...

This looks like a beautifully painted mini and a really awesome base, but I have to agree with Vhaidra that your picture is really letting you down here. I touched up your photo, adjusted the color balance and contrast and it looks much better. Check it out here: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y96/Grumb/magefixed.jpg

Wow that's looking great!!! I really really like it very much. Nice painting at all and a fantastic base but unfortunatly a really bad picture. Maybe you can posting it again with better pictures. Then you will getting higher rates for sure.
