Warcon Gladiator
This is a Limited Edition sculpt by Jakob Nielsen, made for the danish Wargames tournament "Warcon". You can´t really make it out in the picture, but the metallic bit on the base is the miniatures tap, which says simply "Warcon" :) This was painted really quickly at the tournament, about 4-6 hours spent on it, to have it finished in time for the painting competition held on saturday. The miniature placed second in the fantasy single category, beaten by a Rackham mini by Rune Kappel. And regarding Rune, a big thanks his way for photographing the miniature :) Much better than my own crappy photos.. hehe.. I´m very satisfied with the paintjob, some nice warm colours and not too many flaws. Only thing that lets it down a bit is the shield, which was rushed in time for the competition..
