Chaos Sorceress

The inside of her cloak is done with a starfield effect, close-ups try to show some of it. She was very interesting to paint after painting the Fiannas. Now I am working on some Reapers, and you can really tell the difference in quality between the three lines. Seems to be some kind of problem with the ebay link - click this instead http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5228154133&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1

Nice work. I have also painted this mini and I found it fun to paint, though that was about a year ago. I really like the freehand on the inside of the cape. Your flesh tones look good as does the blacklining. My only complaint is the red clock and I agree with the other comment that it could be broken up a bit. Aside from freehand a layering effect might be cool. Nice work overall.

Saw this in the GT for this month and was immediately struck by it. I'm glad to see more angles. It's a nice piece, and you did a super job on it. Two points, however, 1.) you're obviously skilled enough to pull it off -- throw some freehand on that big expanse of coat in the back. Break up that red -- nice though it is. 2.) The hair is a tad bit flat for my liking. I'd have worked some blue into it so as to make the white highlights shine more like a healthy sheen than look as though she's graying. Nice work. Good luck in the GT. :)
