1/8 scale Kotokukiya kit of Hanabi from the anime "Sakura Taisen". The first kit that I painted with my shiny new airbrush back in 2003 or so. Also my first experiments with some different masking, as well as my first in oil paints (for the eyes and lips). The pink finely diced tissue was an attempt to portray sakura petals. I kinda think it looks like she's wandering near a parade or trash heap or something, but hopefully you get the picture. Comments are always welcome!

She's very cute! I really lie the eyes, they look almost perfect anime-style. I actually thought the pink things were flowers on the ground, so without a cherry tree apparent, that's not bad! Nice work! :D
