Eldar Wraithlord

Too many gems on these things. Overall a nightmare miniature for me. Parts breaking off after being painted, spilled paint on some of the bended areas, made a mess with the water, and I even dropped my camera on it as I was putting it away. I got it all back together and I put it alone in a safe place. I'm paranoid now. It was a challenge to blend into such large panels for me. I thought it would be easier but large panels show all your blending errors. Was a good experience. I really enjoyed the freehand on the head and legs since I don't do it much. Hope you like it and comments always welcome

What, were you painting this Wraithlord on an indian burial ground or something?? Geez I thought I had some tough luck with minis. Well despite your trials I think it turned out awesome. I have never liked this craftworld (despite the nasty firepower you can lay down) because of its color scheme, but your blending and shading makes it really work! You're right about big panels ugh! I love the base as well good contrast. The green is a nice change not enough areas of it to distract from the blue/yellow thing ya got going, its cool. Overall sweet mini nothing overboard just good solid painting...my kinda stuff!

Absolutely amazing Urb. I love the colours, although steping on a Nid seems a little mean :). Well done for sure.

LOL Sorry to hear about your incidents :)This is a cool mini. Nice work. I'm not sure about the green pipes on the elbows though. Maybe they need more definition. I love the blue and yellow colours and some cool freehand too. Good job
