40k Storm Trooper SGT Grenadier
My first paint job I was happy with. Since I play Imperial Guard I lie a quick and dirty look. I like a battle worn look. Though it's very unorthodox I actully like to have some of the lead color show through on parts that are supposed to be matalic a wear points. Parts of the armor that would be worn. Thus I use inking as it natuarlly falls just right. My work is mostly Inks and Watered down paings. I like blending the coulors and doing various washes using dry washes and wet wash techniques. Wet washing allows for colors and inks to blend nicly where as dry washes show "ink or water lines" where the 2nd color ends. Frankly I think this is a great model to pain and hope to get another in the future though I may do more conversion work on the 2nd.
