Eldar Falcon GravTank

My most recent Mini. The small freehand was astonishingly entertaining and quite easy to paint. More troublesome was the accenting (is it the right word?) of the Tanks edges, 'couse there were quite a lot and it's rather booring work... ;) All in all, i'm pretty happy with the outcome. Paintjob isn't that spectacular, but nevertheless quite effective, wouldn't you agree? :) -feel free to comment on my work. any suggestions are welcome.

looks good - great job on the freehand bits. how about adding a couple of coats of gloss varnish to the canopies? (the glass only, notthe frames) might make them stand out a bit more...

You could add a little detail to the canopies and put some highlighting / reflections on it. I did with mine to achieve a more animé like style and it turned out quite well. Take a look here : http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/6343701/

The canopies? They're shut, you're right! The Pilots did mind beeing seen, as they realised they were the ugliest modells done by GW, ever. :P I really (yes, really!) don't like the models of the pilots. It is kind of a general apathy against pilot/ driver figures in models. It was quite comfortable to omit paintig them, butcomfort (really!) wasn't the reason I did (as you might possibly imply. -now I'm done justifying... ;)
