Scratchbuilt Helm's Deep
I started this little project 6 months before "The Two Towers" hit the theaters, so it's basic form is not 100% identical to the HD as seen in the movies. But it's fully functional, and more important: it is also very playable. It's made of cardboard-reënforced polystyreen (very strong & light), PVA-glue, double-sided tape and lots of structured paint. It's base measures 100 x 100cm (I know, metric system...) and it goes with an additional Deeping Wall of another 100 x 80cm. Unfortunately, I took these pictures before the Deeping Wall was finished in mid-2004.
