One of my earliest paint jobs. Still struggling to get a less shiny picture but the snakes were treated to try an look wet/slimy. Comments welcome.

Actually, the only varnish is on the eyes, medallion and snkes/hair to give a deliberately wet. glossy effect. The is no other gloss on the model.

This one looks pretty good, what is lowering it's rate though, is the amount of gloss varnish. I can't see why you're using it at all, to protect the minis during transport, or just becuase you like it? Very well, that's your decision to make. But you would have gotten a 7, maybe an 8 without it.
