Whew. I'm going to have to get a thank you package going.

I tried to ship my package out to England today. The fellow at the UPS office told me it would cost $80.00 to ship it. He suggested that the US Post Office would be cheaper (at about $50.00). I headed over to a different company and was told $80.00 by them as well.

How can I get this thing shipped for a reasonable amount? I expected to pay a significant amount for shipping, but that's a lot more than I anticipated.

Looking online, I see that a priority mail box will cost $14.00. It could be less than eight dollars if the package was less than 3/4" thick. I want to slap the jerks who wasted my time by telling me the US Post Office would charge almost as much as their grossly overpriced services.

@ Sir Wulf: Sorry I read this a bit too late. But as you found out, the US Postal Service has flat rate boxes.

Sorry to not have responded until now, I have to much at work the last couple of weeks and order overtime, I will look into this tommorow and send my "stuff" to the person that should get products from me.

Unflag the worthy Benihaha, who sent an excellent assortment of minis. In addition to a pleasant postcard, he sent me a very cool chaos space marine lord, a regular marine (so the lord would have someone to order around), an eldar scout, a Reaper banshee, Reaper wizard, two skaven, two tomb-kings skeletons, several bases, and a load of assorted bits.
