WOW! That truck looks great. The weathering is fantastic. Like the overall concept too which just adds to my awe. I'd sell my soul to be able to paint like that! Any offers? :p

I've continued sketching more colours in, lots more to do though.

Cheers! Whilst I made progress on Newark before the weekend I've been doing another project since then. The new project is another Dark World Creations vehicle conversion kit - it needs to be finished for Bath in less then 2 weeks time - gulp! Hence I'm keeping my head low for the next few days ;-)

Looks great so far, love the orange color! Quick question, whats the average PSI you spray at for general base coating and spraying?

Cheers :) Regarding airbrush pressure - the dial says about 22psi - btw, the orange is Vallajo model air colour light red and the blue is one of the new ones from GW (which was a pig to use through an airbrush).

Right then, I've a long painting day ahead but so far I've finished the wheels, engine and underneath. Next I'm onto the interior.

Very nice. The age on the fuel tanks and cans is very realistic. These vehicles remind me of the good models from Fine Scale Modeler magazine.

Very impressive sir. You really should do an SBS on your weathering technique. I know i would love to see it and put it to use.

I've now put the thing together and painted the bare metal parts - using a white pencil I added manufacturing chalk marks :)

Next is the weathering the main body, but that will have to wait to tomorrow (and the coming few days)
