I know it sounds weird announcing it like this when my posting has gone way down but I've become very jaded of late especially with forums. The latest news that everyone is crowing over GW's bad trading, it just seems petty and is turning me away from wanting to buy/make/paint any miniatures in general. This forum doesn't breed the nastiness I've seen on others, but I'm just had enough. I can understand why people feel the need to voice their opinion's and that's what forum's are for, but we also need some lightness. It seems I've lost my mojo with miniatures :(

So I'm going to step away from forums and even from miniature buying til I get my groove back.

It's cool, this is supposed to be fun so if it's not you should step away. However, you must come back with a post entitled "How crystella got her groove back" That is my only caveat ;) Enjoy your break!

Fingers crossed you find the keen back fairly soon. Completely agree about other forums being full of negativity, glad CMoN isn't anywhere near as bad though :)

Seriously though, now's the time to paint more, not less. Figure painting helps me find balance and happiness in this universe. May it do the same for you.

Ignore the negative sad sods'. Poor chaps ~ carrying on with all that hate and angst must be taxing on the soul. May the angels of mercy grant 'em insightful reveries that free them from their weighty shackles of the mind.

But, having said all of that, there's certainly wisdom in stepping away from stuff in order to find your groove again.

Groove on~ :)

I come to this forum to look for the best in people and to help when and where I can.

I woke up one morning and realized that if we aren't all on this ball of dirt for each
other than what is the point ?

( I mean other than desserts with cinnamon and Vikey's favorite stuff....)

I, too, will miss the bunny :)

Find your way back....

That can be the only point as far as I've come to see.


I sympathise with Bernadette's (Crystella's) feelings as I've felt like that myself a couple of times, but I know she's got other pressures at the moment.
So I'm just hoping for the best for her and a speedy return to us.

Well said. That is why I keep hanging around here even when I'm at a dry spell in painting.

I'm looking forward to both painting it for you and the handover. You'd better have put contact details in.:clap:
