Ok primed this boy making a start on him the usurper from nocturna. Got to say the casting was crap in places I had to fill like mad with milliput also the whole base was warped to f*ck ages getting the thing straight with hairdryer and sand paper. Still its a great atmospheric sculpt.

Yes, very Conan-esque. Just remember that prep time saves loads of frustration later on and generally sets the tone for the whole mini. Can't wait to see how this comes along.
You know, you would be interested in Stephen Simon's up and coming sculpts for a French kickstarter for a game called Conan something or other. All they have up is a FB page and it won't start til 2015, but their concept art is craaaaazy. Plus of course anything Simon touches is pure gold. But when I saw some of the stuff it just reeked of an AndyG croc on a hot midsummer's day.
