TY friends!
solid ideas sprocket very appreciated :good: lets see if i ever get the energy to finish this (as usual, interest in the project fails at 90%...)
some pictures of my water-effect-things so far...
the mould. following the advice of 10ball (!) i used cable ties instead of elastic band, worked very well. Stole some chocks from jr for support, as the hardening reaction generate some heat and will untimately bend the plasticard
and lucky i did as the card gave up on one side, pure f#cking luck that the water had harden enough before it happened otherwise it had been more or less a disaster. lesson learned, next time even more support!
"the cube" so far, quite a heavy chunk of water effect. i used in total 7 dl of water effect in here (about 1,5 pint... or something) very raw atm and i have lots of fun in front of me sanding and polishing this thing noooooooooot
i used p74 clear plastic for water this time and it worked like a charm, it harden rock solid after 24 hours and to me much better than clear resin. only downside is that it smells terrible and it smell
a lot before it harden.
