Bloodfather, i used to be that way too. having a kid in kindergarten really takes its toll!

I had the exact same combo a few weeks back! Kindergarden plauge, should be banned by law.

My son is in nursery my daughter primary school and I lecture its amazing I ever get out of a sick bed!!

All of these are 100% accurate. Take the biggest he man with a strong constitution and give him a kid and he will be helpless with sickness.

love the work on the mini Skell and once you get the sword worked out it will be very cool.

You could take a nice sword and eat parts of it away to make it look super old... I always liked the old school sewing needle for a rapier trick too

yeah absolutely, but i guess the learning curve is frightening me a bit. but it will be next step to switch more painting to oil.

i know i know, i also find the lack of updates disturbing. mojo isnt flowing, in fact there is no mojo at all at the moment. i rather just watch an episode black sails or something. not good when there are stuff that needs to be made before salute. or not.

did change the wights sword, etch master stuff. much better

That sword looks great. Really matches the atmosphere of the rest of the mini. He really looks "fallen". Down on his luck, maybe?

Sword is sooooooooooo much better. I think this mini is growing on me a bit. I reviewed the entire line of LotR and Hobbit minis recently and I'll tell ya, there really isn't much to offer in this line. I do kind of like that giant green guy from on of the movies....the one where the elf jumped on him from the balcony to slay him....forget what its called but I think that'd be fun to paint. Also would be fun to paint a dio of the trolls trying to cook the dwarves as the sun is coming up....maybe make one of them bathed in sunlight and turning into stone....idk....but you did pick one of the best minis from the line.

If Stella got her groove back, you'll get your mojo back....

Sword looks great! I have a soft spot for teh LOtR stuff. I have a Boromir that's mounted and standing and the standing one is really nice. I have had him forever...

finished the lotr mini, more or less. its missing a plaque and some spider webs, the later i have to wait with a little as the spiders obviously haven't awaken yet


now its time to kill off that frog!

Really nice piece. The base is great for the mood of the figure. And just enough, too much could over power it visually. Out of curiosity, where did you get the railing?

Oh man thats creapy in all the right ways, beautiful work. Amazing looking robe, interesting there is not a set shape to the freehand but looks like a patten enough to make sense to the eye.
