Actually sending good vibes from Barcelona to you for the job research! That idea of yours of the part time work seems like a good one, move forward if you feel confident enough ;)

Wow bud I am so sorry I went through several tough time what it did was give me more time to paint and that's how I've been fortunate enough to build my skills . Bad times are good for one thing they bring out the best of us as human beings we have something that other life forms need 100s of years to perfect and that is WE ADAPT!! Rutherford bad times don't last forever some of the greatest men in the world have been down and out four and five times . So hang in there things will get better they always do !!! Your going to place well is right it's a masterful paint job on the lizard man and the mount!!! Good luck!!!

Cheers John, I'm siliently hoping I can do EpicMiniArt has a part time thing to extra cash and use part time job to pay the main bills.My wife is a midwife so she has a secure career :). Least then I can enjoy 50% of my work. Currently I earn enough from epic mini art to keep myself painting, which suits me fine but I may have the opertunity to expand it so it may well be a silver lining on that black cloud. It's just a crap situation to be in, but loads of us have been there

Here is some of the Dark Elder commision bits I've been doing, again its only to a gaming std

well I've started building the flesh up, I've actually desaturated all the shade colours except for the highlights..
so flesh so far is
Shadow first -> highlight

Black / purple with a dab of yellow in it
Dark Red / Purple with a dab of green in it
Dark Red
Bright red / Dark Red
bright Red
Bright Red / white

Even though you can't see it, having a desaturated shades and bright highlights really adds some punch to flesh, tis hard to see in the phone and its on my phone and the light is crap, still got some work to do on the flesh, like smoothing out the tones but its coming together
