I'm really enjoying watching the progress on your giant & snotling Lee! The skin tones are particularly good but the humor element is the thing that's making this special. What about having a couple of unnoticed (by the giant) snots on the base trying to knock all sorts of crap out of his ankles.

That snotling is great, his facial expression is perfect. I like Sproket's idea, having a snotling or two hacking away at his feet while he doesn't feel a thing.

I like the snotling thing, it adds a punch of colour to them both and a pinch of fine humour.
I also like the idea of two or three little greens around his feet, but I fear the interest point (giant gaze and frightened snotling) will then became diluted and/or jumped over to a more diorama or little vignette.

Sprockets idea of the snotlings around his ankles is good in the sense it brings more narrative to the scene. However I think Maenas has a point in that it could distract from the main character.

Perhaps some dead ones, maybe face down in the mud or under his feet would add extra detail but being face down they wouldn't have the interaction a face would normally cause the viewer and for that reason perhaps a best of both worlds could be achieved with that ?

Ive been messing all day, due to the size of the base i was limited but ive come up with this funny little scene.
Also repainted teh snots in a more intense green to add to the cartoon look.
