II'm thinking to go in the direction of a dark desaturated red or red purple....this way your two complimentery colors of desaturated green and desaturated red show some harmony....now I'm not talking a Christmas red and green....I'm talking some type of darker deeper not so red but a brown red,or as I've mentioned red purple ..when highlighting these reds you use ,instead of analogous color of oranges and yellows, you'll use a bit of white or beige in increasing amounts.just some thoughts...REM color theory is always at work for the best results and finished paintjobs...picking colors are as important as the techniques of blending laying etc etc.....refer to Betty Edwards ....when we start randomly picking colors sometimes we can get in hot water,I know at least I do.very nice greens ,creepy eyeball, great job thus fsr...and as Dragonsreach stated use some different tones this should add realism and take away the monotony and the sameness and add authenticity in your piece.
