@Sicks: A couple of friends will probably buy the new BB version (they will split the box contexts between them, probably) so I rushed this a bit to be able to play with a full painted team ^^. And yes I went for gold and red for that regal look so is great that you spot it 
@Khavor: I agree with that gold.. I did went up a little more as you said. But I sometimes struggle when highlighting because I "eat up my previous work". So more practice for me on this is needed. Ty for pointing it up.
Thank you for your kind responses @meatynosebleeds, @SaintToad, @BloodAsMedium, @Darthmarsh, and to my favourite ninja! I feel we are a Team working together to step up our game, in fact we are a League of Painters!
Now some more updates... well I kind of finished the Team although I am sure I will came to them later and revisit some parts (hair specially, and maybe some highlights or deeper shadows here and there...)

On all of them I reserved the "winged" shoulder for the last thing to paint, because I was doubting with the colour to apply, I was between, red (too much I thought), a parrot green (for a caledor dragons reference, but a bit off of the current palette) or a greyish blue... but I finally opted to paint them as eagle feathers (solution to my colour problem, came to me while I was sleeping LOL )...
For the basing materials: Sandy paste, fine and coarse sand, grass clumps from army painter and green stuff companies. And also a couple of laser paper cut plants from Noch. Everything painted with vallejo and scale75 pigments with a previous shading of Seraphim sepia and Agrax earthshade washes from GW.
And here you'll see the full team, front and back... followed by a little surprise..

I had that Skaven team back in the day I'm tempted by the new BB set but I don't have anyone to play it with and I prefer the elf teams play styles so I might wait and hope they release the other teams quickly, i think the overkill and silver tower sets have some great models but I can't justify buying them all lol I can probably get away with buying one though so I'll see what else comes out by Christmas since most of my family give me cash which will put a dent in the prices
The elves look great as a team, are they alternative high elves? The bases have turned out nicely for them too

@Sicks: Yup, they can be played as high elves (what I am aiming for) and also as pro elves (I did not knew this team existed) the miniatures are not GW though, they are from black scorpion check them also for a nice furry skaven team, and a beautiful amazone one too... I am tempted by the Silver tower too but I will resist, or at least I hope so. xD xD

I agree, that's why I try to keep all my minis, although some are "ugly" xD
Though I think I am a slow painter, my opinion is that what I have improved most is the overall time spent, I think I used half or even a quarter of the time I spent with the skaven. So less time and much better result is great!! xD xD
Yup bro!! ^^ I will possibly expand it with a couple of catchers and another thrower more to have the complete alienation for when the team develops further... but I must check the rooster possibilities and the treasury xD

Save the smurfs from the trash!
Sooooo a friend of my wife has a gigantic collection of smurfs, and the other day she brought me a plastic bag with some smurfs that she rescued from a garden, and she wanted to incorporate to her collection... but they were in a pretty bad condition.. full of dirt, with scratches and chipped paint, she looked me with that kind of gaze that no one can refuse (evenmore she's my wife's bestfriend) so I throw myself in and restored them for her ^^
I took them to the shower and wash them thoroughly with a little bit of dishwasher, ammonia, water and a toothbrush. Then filed some mold lines and also filled up some mould holes with vallejo plastic putty and reesculpted a part of the Phrygian cap of the one holding the lamp.
Here is the before/after result after some gloss varnish layers....

White is a mix of white sands, birch and white (SColor75)
Blue is a mix of cantabric, mediterranean and tesla blues also from scale75.
Highlights nor shadows were wanted in this project so I went pretty fast and painted them in one afternoon!! She ended up superhappy so I felt released xD

We have been looking over the internet for a vinyl to apply to our wall behind the tv, but prices tear us apart from buying. So after seeing a couple of mates here at the forums painting their walls, I decided to do it by myself and draw one of the designs we liked personalizing it to our taste and wall's shape, so I took advantage of the method I designed for drawing "sakura" flowers when painting Momohime (have a peek here) and applied it to a wall of our dinning-room.
I draw everything on the wall with a pencil, then outline the branches, next paint the inner part of the branches (the outline served as a barrier for the paint) then did the same with flowers, buds and petals. All paint was applied almost as if it were watercolour.
Wife is super happy yay! :handshake: and me too xD
