So here's some Prrogress images for those curious. I took a strange approach to building it. The whole thing is hollow for the most part. I call it the "underwear methid". I dunno if I came up with it first, but it was certainly my first time building anything this way and my first time working...

It's made of EVA foam and foam clay. This is my first time sculptting with these materials...ever. It stands about a foot tall.
