My first kit after not painting for years. Coming along quite nicely I think. The Boars are almost done. It's a longer process due to the fact that my tool kit is a bit lean. I'm mixing all my colors from primary colors. Fun but takes a little longer. I am planning on doing all the armour...

I have used various grains of salt to base minis. It really looks great when painted and is extremely cheap. I do however worry about it affecting the mini over time. I'm sure I'm not the only person to experiment with this substrate---was just wondering if anyone has had a bad experience...
