If i choose to go away and take my paints with me in the plane cargo hold, will they be ok ?
I once did this years ago and my inks exploded due to the pressure. Has anyone taken paints on board an aircraft ?

My finished 3 x 2 skeleton and leader squad. I'm pretty happy with it as i used different techniques to paint them. Dipping, blending, etc. I just need to show them off properly with good lighting and photo.

Haven't painted for a while and I'm trying out different techniques and styles on a squad of blood angel space marines. The first technique I'm trying is dipping, it doesn't give fantastic result but it is quick. This space marine is ready, painted in base colours and ready for dipping. Now...

I have some gw paints that have started to dry out after a break from painting. Would it be a good idea to buy acrylic thinners and try and resurrect them. In future ill buy some some squeeze bottles and keep the paint in there. I like the bottles as you use want you need.
I would like to make some sand desert effect bases, can anyone give me some games workshop or Vallejo paint names I could use. So for example , scorched brown, layered with, dry brush with etc.

GW sells glue for plastic miniatures, by the time you add to the basket the price is crazy. Is there an alternative i can get on eBay, I could just use polyester cement that you get in a tube, but is there anything quicker setting and cheaper ?
standard superglue maybe ?
I quite like this style of painting cloth but I find it's not very smooth, I presume this is a layering method with a small amount of blending.

The best way to describe the effect I want to make is to imagine a space marine should shield/pad. I would like to make some extra raised sections that are vertical and horizontal like a cross. I was thinking of doing this (on flat sections) with 1mm plastic sheet or cardboard. Curves sections...
