The shininess I am referring to meaning the contrast paints was glossy. I am not complaining about the shininess of the gehenna gold.

Hi, Can anyone advise me how to paint metallic metal paints? I'm painting a chaos Abaddon. I tried Gehenna gold shaded with Wyldwood contrast paints. Unfortunately the result was very shiny. Do you have any advice how I can improve the result please?
