Now that’s what a dread should look like after endless battle and carnage. Showroom shine would disappear the moment it went to war. Congrats on the awards. You deserve them.

Holy Jeez BaM. The orks are bloody amazing. Perfect vehicle for your special kind of grimy weathering. It has given them character. The hazard striping is super nice too.
Take the advice to seal your work with varnish. Test it out on a spare mini first. Last 2 times I tried different brands of markers I ended up painting over part of it I didn’t like. It didn’t matter...
I’ve heard of people having issues with rusting agitators but I’ve used MIG and AK Interactive for years over about 1,000 plus bottles of paint and I never have had a problem. I prefer the stainless...
I feel your pain. I’ve had a Badger Renegade Krome for 2 years and it has yet to be used. When the airbrush wouldn’t fit the hose I bought a Badger hose but then that didn’t fit my compressor. When I...
A couple of things come to mind. Are you using wet palette papers or have you started using everyday baking paper? It shouldn’t make much difference though and certainly not to the extent shown in...
Those guys need a good shower and exfoliation treatment. You get better and better with the realism of those creepy AF eyeballs. I found my old metal deathguard of the ?early 90’s going through some...
Oh those green bases take me back!
The fire dragon is amazing.
The detail you’ve been able to achieve is AMAZING. How big is it going to be when finished roughly. It’s a bit hard for me to work the scale out not knowing much about the stuff in the background. I...
The dags on your black Orc armour look really nice. Dark and moody as black orcs should be. I’m one of those people who don’t like black backgrounds much. I think part of it is my ageing eyesight and...
This is my main gripe with scale75 paints. You really do need to shake the bejesus out them. I tend to shake them then and I put the first drop on some paper. Next drop goes on my wet palette. They...
Not for Gonzo it isn’t.
The skin on the face of Cormac is sweet. Will be following closely as I’d love to paint mine but just don’t think I could do justice to such a great sculpt.
Dwarf is looking great so far. I wish I had that one in my stash. Alas, I don’t check my emails often enough to grab much of his stuff in the 48hrs or so many seem to be available.
The sky/earth NMM on your biker girl’s bike is fantastic. The other bike you’re constructing is really taking shape. I wish I had both the imagination and skill to knock up some of the things you...
Those Plague Toads are looking really good. They would look good set further down into resin water with elongated teeth and a bioluminescent blob on a stalk like angler fish. Don’t know what made me...
Geez, I wish my red crap looked like your red crap. I always check in regularly to see what you’ve been working on. I wish I had the same fastidious attention to detail....or is it OCD? The way your...
I find that the stainless steel ones have a greater weight to size ratio than glass and can often get away with a single bearing. About a year ago I heard a few people complain of quality control...
You seem to have aged and beaten metals down to perfection. I agree that the nose and rune is nice. I’ve never used the green stuff world Fluor paints before. Do they glow under UV light like the...
The skeletons are looking good...as if they have spent centuries underground and are now just awakening. The coffee grounds are just from ground coffee beans, not the instant stuff. It’s only...
I don’t think I could do better than the suggestions you already have for the paint jobs so I’ll try to leave that alone. For the basing you could build pigments, something like AK interactives...
Good to see you back. It’s amazing what a break can do. Your work is always inspiring and it was only the other day I was wondering what you were up to. Don’t put any pressure on yourself to see...
You have some nice work going on. The thing I like about Deathguard is the possibilities are endless and only limited by your imagination.
The armour of Morty looks fantastic. Nice transitions. I’ve had my oldest airbrush for close to 15yrs and that thing still confuses me.
Thank you for helping me decide what to paint today. Skellies it it. Nice collection you have of them. I really like Redcap...I’ve always wanted that figure but it’s either not in stock when I have...
Now you’re really just showing off. I look at my grey plastic marines and throw them back in the box. One day my little smurfs....one day.
Like ekipage, I’m in two minds about the dwarf base. Shortening it a little will help the dwarf be first and foremost. Leaving it as is will convey a message as to how diminutive a dwarf is compared...
The camo cloak works so well with the green armour. Skin seems perfect for a dude constantly hiding in shadows half the time and wearing a helmet the other half.
Thought I’d really outdo myself this time and stick my mini on a white bit of paper to disguise my mess. Started with my Ridgerunner. Initially painted stock standard gee dub colours but I decided to...
I saw your Ridgerunner in a few Pinterest pins and wondered who painted it. I took notice of it because of the non standard paint scheme and brilliant weathering.
Where did you get the snails from? They look great painted up. When I first looked at your pic of the tree trunk I thought it was a picture of a real tree. The moss takes it to a higher level.
100% improvement with the gold NMM eki. I found it easy to turn down the bitchin volume in my head from anyone and anything after I had a child. She tells me constantly I embody the ethos of ‘no...
The alien is my favourite for sure. I like the long claw like fingers and the face. Anyone who can do more than just mix GreenStuff up (about my skill limit) has my kudos.
The skin you have painted on mr cleaver looks fantastic. Has a leathery hide appearance.
Don’t knock the Citadel starter brush Skelettes. Best darn back scratcher I’ve ever had.
The eyeball in Magnus’ hand looks incredibly realistic and suitably creepy.
Geez Louise BaM...Those smurfs look amaaaazing. Just like they should after half a lifetime of slogging it out with xenos and chaos. I bought the mag as soon as it came out.
Welcome Razlo,
Your space marine is definitely a solid start to the hobby. My favourite part would have to be the helmet. If you are unhappy with the face you don’t necessarily have to repaint it....
The texture you have worked into the cloak looks fantastic. Freehand just as spectacular. Leave it as it is. Job done.
The dark armour of your deathguard really lets the fantastic purple/pink tentacles stand out. It also makes the eyes appear to be glowing. I feel you on your run in with the fixer bottle. I had a...
The robes on Galadriel look great but what I like the most is your take on blonde hair. It is one of the few I’ve seen that look so realistic.
Your cyber brute looks like he will be a lot of fun for you to paint. Double points for such a small scale. Top notch job done with the tank freehand...You certainly didn’t go for the easy option....
Well done with the win eki. One of many more to come I hope.
The dark muted tones of Sanctus works well but the Keeper of Secrets certainly is the way to blast onto the WIP forum. Welcome.
Thanks Gorb, eki and of course good ole uncle BaM. For those of you who don’t know BaM was the biggest driving force for me to just pick up a paint brush and focus on what works for your own style.
You are really perfecting those skin tones BaM. The arm holding the binoculars is perfect. The blue armour has your style stamped all over it.
Something different when I’m tired of GW stuff. Sorry for bad photos.
Decided to take the plunge and post my musings on here. (More like be embarrassed into actually finishing something.) Criticism welcome so long as it’s constructive. I’d rather be pushed into doing...
Check out military modelling tutorials or more specifically naval dioramas. Some of the examples are ridiculously realistic. You will find everything from resin pours to alternative materials such as...
Check out Lukes APS on You tube or even Luke Towan. The first has many many video tutorials on how to make cheap basic scenery materials.
King of slime. Master of pox. Nuff said.
Your colour choice works well and is so vibrant. Suits the nature of a noise marine where everything screams “Look at me!”
Nice work overall but I find the last 5 really good.
Put it in the oven on the lowest setting possible. If need be put a wooden spoon or something between the oven and door to keep door slightly ajar so it doesn’t get too hot. Other than that and...
You could always dilute it and use it as a wash but I’d experiment with it first due to the amount of pigment. I don’t often use it on skin as it’s quite reddish brown and that’s not how I paint my...
When do you normally stream on Twitch?....and what time zone? I might check them out if I can. I’ll have to watch this one to see how you did the old leather and aged bone. I can’t remember the scale...
Thank you for taking the time to do the article on your rusty weapons. AK’s corrosion texture is definitely a great thing to have in one’s arsenal. I’ve never used it on miniatures though and should...
The gold NMM looks really good. I particularly like the way you have painted the canister of green fluid.
The shields would mix well with your sepulchral guard. I think your skin has been evolving and improving with each new set of minis.
My usual response to any of my screw ups is “battle damage” but that could be tricky with cloth. And I’ve noticed that things tend to break either at the end of a long paint or only at the beginning...
Thousand sons looks awesome. Shame about the cloth. Can you get rid of the raised detail, putty it and sand back? Or maybe even paint a colour fade at the bottom that draws the eye away from the...
Axe head is sweet. I wish I could paint it as well. Hoping a tutorial follows....hint hint.
Your base work is superb. I think your first base is a piece of art in itself...even without the figure. Very smooth painting. Shame about the photo bucket logo across most of it. ;)
I’m really liking the teeth on your squigs....and nice to see something different than the stock standard orange.
I’ll be checking that out for sure. The glowing green has turned out rather nicely. I can see a line of Wappeloils being rushed into production now.....if there was anywhere that could produce them...
Dude....that Ork be takin me back. That was one of the first metal minis I ever bought. You make me want to cry thinking about the huge box of old stuff I turfed into the bin years ago. I always...
I bought a few 8408s online by mistake one day.....usually buy 8404s. I know this is a wishy washy answer but the choice between the two really comes down to what you are used to and your painting...
Those guys really need some education on caring for their tools of trade. The rust has gotten out of hand.
With all the miniatures I can see in the background you certainly have your work cut out for you. I’m working on some Necrons too so I’m interested to see how you finish yours up.
I’d imagine it takes some serious skills to make a paper model look good like you have. I’ve always wanted to try a paper kit but never had the confidence. I already only have 9 and a bit fingers and...
The pigments should work very well on your Death Dealer. They will help give give it well blended small areas that combined with small pops of colour will give it a look true to Frazetta. The...
Thanks for the last tutorial. Great example of painting the translucent nature of lividity on skin. Now for one one that freakishly good elephant.....
I know that sinking feeling when you put hours into a project and something goes wrong. I’m usually too impatient to wait a full day before masking over a freshly painted surface so I only use Tamiya...
Her head looks great side on. The purple becoming more prominent behind the head really works. A nice dusting of pigments becoming more concentrated towards the rust could tie it all in with the...
Several of these riders are going to look awesome grouped together. My only criticism would be not drawing attention to the Wallace and Gromit/sex doll mouth if that’s the way it’s sculpted. Doesn’t...
Just noticed how wonderful the bloody mace mr. fish head Minotaur has. You can see where the layers add up to something quite realistic. It has such an aged look with blood that has collected dust...
I think you’ve stayed pretty true to the vision of Frank Frazetta so far with your Death Dealer. What scale miniature are you painting. Feel better soon.
My lazy ass is too lazy to vote. No really, voted.
People won’t build up an immunity unless there is exposure. Exactly. We all had to get influenza A and B for the first time and death rates are equal and even higher in some regions. So why is the...
The eyeball you painted looks sweet as. Nurglings awesome.
You could probably turn plinth making into a good business if you made something more individual than a rectangle. So many people are on the lookout for decent handmade plinths. I can’t be the only...
Don’t sell or give away your stuff guys. Pack it all away if that’s an option and find something that tickles your proverbial fancy for a while. I’ve found myself that things are always temporary and...
I’m just glad I’m no longer working as a registered nurse. Sounds crazy out there going by accounts of friends who still are. Unless there is something the governments of the world aren’t telling...
Yup....those last pics remind me so much of living and working in a tropical area and all the abscesses that would need to be drained so well done on making my brain draw that correlation. Better...
I use both the Ammo Mig and AK Interactive matte varnishes and have never had a single episode of frosting. Used both during days of temperature/moisture extremes. Zero problems regardless of usage...
The predators are looking top notch. All that texture sculpted into them would be a treat to paint. The red armour plating is my favourite part. They do look better with a matte finish. I’ve never...
Awesome work. Looks like Dr. Pimplepopper has been at them though. Nasty...but in a good, well painted way. Best of luck my friend.
When are we going to see some of Janet’s stuff again?
The only time I ever have issues with either the studio or painter wet palette drying out is if the weather is quite warm. During those days I do as Eki suggested and have the sponge as wet as I can...
Great job on the bloody mace. Skins and wounds look good as usual. I have to agree the coin purse was a rather unfortunate addition. You should really add a few pubic hairs to it...make it really...
It really comes down to your painting style but I’d rank the Army Painter acrylic paints at the bottom of my list of about a dozen tried brands. The exception to that are their inks which I think are...
The bust you have just finished has great skin. It looks like desiccated, mummified skin. You could walk right up to him and slice yourself off a piece of jerky.
The rusty bodies of your Necrons are fantastic. You have achieved a very convincing three dimensional representation of rust. The scratched and chipped blue armour looks good too.
Just been looking at the last pics of your Gellerpox. Obviously I’ve seen them before but this time I really looked. Interesting to see all the multiple layers add up to a whole. See where one ends...
I’m liking the look of your silver birch now it’s got some paint on it. The peeling bark is a nice touch and one that I may steal one day.
I have all the Kobberland dwarves at home and couldn’t really get into painting but seeing your version has given me some inspiration.
Your vehicles look really good all together and I really like the yellow you laid down. I’m painting most of the vehicles myself ATM so I’m interested in your approach. I bought myself some Molotow...
The skin on the troggoth looks cool. Some nice blends going on there.
The tendril/tongue you have painted looks really good. It looks kinda slimy and mottled with veins. Great work. Those teeth look pretty terrifying too.
The helmet looks top notch LL. Good representation of ageing and pitted metal.
The skulls and river of blood running down from the tree looks sweet. Going to be a great base.
The cloak on Eyros is really nice. Van Saar leader is great too. Predators look awesome and you have been able to achieve a nice tonal variation on the aliens.
Nice work on your Thunderbird. Ball turrets are top notch but I bet they made you cry when you put the hatches on and covered up all your good work.
OSL is looking good.
Don’t be messing with the chick with the chainsaw is my advice. She is going to look fantastic when finished.
I think the spots on the head look really good. I’d maybe tone the ones on the leg down as you suggest. They look good but a glaze of flesh over them will push them into the background a little so...
You Sir....are the king of weathering, pox and pustules.
You have really good brush control and very clean painting style.
Cheapest alternative i know of is silly putty from any $2 store. Otherwise many of the companies that make military armour painting/weathering supplies also make masking putties. Some of the ones I...
Great tutorial. Very simple but precise. Make me feel like good results would be easily achievable.
Great job on the mossy bases...but looks like you need more flock.
Vallejo Model Air is good for metallics too and can be a little easier and cheaper to source than the Scale 75, however the Scale 75 conveniently have much of what you need in the one box for each...
I soooooooo want one of these. You’re just teasing me. Proof even orcs get manicures and false nails.
Will be looking forward to your tutorial.
The boar rider is coming along nicely. The two trolls look fantastic next to the squigs. I can’t believe you don’t like prep work on miniatures. I hated doing it too and it was just a necessary evil...
Hard to say when I’m not sure which photo is the most accurate representation of the colour in real life. I think the bottom one is quite good. If anything it may be very slightly to far to the pink...
Paint jobs like the above are more than achievable with a brush. How you go about it really depends on how much time you want to sink into it. Wet blending isn’t as hard as it sounds. You just need...
This happened to several bottles of my Vallejo Model Colour paints. Whether it had something to do with them not having been used for a couple of years I don’t know for sure. They also hadn’t been...
Everyone is just keeping you out of trouble and on the straight and narrow Mike. Idle hands and all that........
The second shot of the barbarians looks the best to me. Perfect white balance and has everything in focus. But don’t listen to me. I know not what I am talking about. As for that...
The work on the barbarian woman looks awesome, especially considering what looks like such a small scale. The base adds atmosphere without detracting from the figure itself. She does look a little...
I really like the paint you’ve put down on the demon bust. It looks a lot like bruised, decaying and partially dessicated human flesh.
I think your tutorial is a solid effort. I like the fact it’s sped up quite fast so you literally don’t watch paint dry but it could be a little condensed for a beginner. While I’m thinking about...
Barbarians looking so good I don’t want to judge them....I wanna DATE them. Apart from The Gimp. He can stalk some other precious. I used your skin recipe on my Bloodreavers. They look good but...
The lil smurf is looking really sweet. I’ve never really understood the bright and shiny armour when you consider what it would be subjected to even in 30 minutes of fighting. Your ultramarine looks...
Congrats BaM. A great reward for the hours and hours you spend painting.
I use crackle medium that has been formulated for scrapbooking. It’s designed to still crack under fairly thickly brush applied paint. Anything made for scrapbooking tends to be expensive but the big...
The yellow looks fantastic.
Hot pink and zebra striped pelts.....I DARE YOU!!!
Yes the skin looks slightly more uniform now. The other three look as good as my favourite little muscle strapped friend. I’m sure he really is sensitive. They either get in lots of fights or aren’t...
I’m digging the squigs. So the lure of plastic, metal and resin crack lured you back huh? Welcome to minipainter’s anonymous.
And now you are just showing off with those crazy good white lines. Making everyone else feel like unworthy mere mortals. But well done anyways. ;)
Good choice although I may be a bit biased. I haven’t used the smallest needle yet as I simply haven’t had to. Spent years trying to bludgeon my way through detail painting with a .05 better suited...
Just what I like to see...the buff bod barbarian branch from the local Mardi Gras. The definition you have painted into the musculature of the guy on the end holding his axe above his head is...
I have a Badger Krome but I don’t think you will get much more benefit from it to justify the outlay of money. The irritation I’ve had regarding Badger proprietary fittings has almost made me want to...
[QUOTE=MAXXxxx;886510]That IS a mini holder. Doesn't have to be branded.
Personally I use a pin-vice for this. Or if the base is already glued to the figure, then the GW one.
Sorry. I meant a...
Raphael 8404s firstly as a workhorse for me as they are the right combination of quality and price. W&Ns I find “were” great brushes but not so much anymore. For the finest and most detailed work I...
I have a mini holder but rarely use it. I find it easy to get a pack of short .5 cm thick balsa wood or dowels and use Bondic to adhere them to a contact point on the figure. Just give it a twist...
The skin keeps looking better and better with each miniature you paint. The striations on the muscles give them much more definition. Can’t wait to see the weapons all painted up.
The skin on the boar’s face looks fantastic and the red armour isn’t too bad either. Red is my favourite colour to paint. The red and yellow armour will look contrast well with each other.
A Very Happy Very belated Birthday. Hope Mrs BaM got you a stack of figures and painting supplies. I’m officially your senior at 48 so respect your elders my friend. ;) Nice work recently too.
I’m not too sure about the plain primer however it could be an all round primer formulated for a wide variety of surfaces. The plastic primer would be formulated specifically to etch onto or...
I’m afraid I’m not going to be of much help regarding the turbo dork paints but I have used the Greenstuff World chameleon paints. I find I have to use a larger needle in my airbrush and crank the...
The bruising and colour nuances on your plaguebearers is awesome. It works well as blood pooling on their undead bodies. I also really like the intestines. Your take on rust is also well done. I’m...
Your grot tanks are the best I’ve ever seen. The weathering...the muddy, greasy goodness all over the tracks and running gear would make any military armour painter envious.
Your beholder is going to look awesome when finished.
Yarry kinda looks like a hairy Elvis impersonator.
I agree with gorb about the hair. It looks exactly like the hair of a Sister of Battle should....in my mind at least. A whitish blonde is very fitting.
“So far I only undercoated the parts.” Sounds like the story of my entire painting life. Your idea of using the interference paints sounds interesting. Should look fantastic in real life where you...
Custodes are actually a really good option to improve your skills when starting out. They can look great with a simple base coat and a wash...then branch your skills out from there. Your deathguard...
If you REALLY want to make your joins watertight for resin pours then consider getting a cheap caulking gun and a tube of bathroom silicone. If you aren’t using plastic that can be melted then a hot...
Changed my favourite again. Now it’s Mexican wrestler dude.
The snakeskin pattern on the cobra tail is off the charts.
The blue W&N Cottman synthetic watercolour brushes are a great buy. Most of the ones I had held up as good as the Kolinsky sable brushes...if not longer. On average they last me a few years and are...
Your latest base is wonderful. It doesn’t detract from the figure but holds its own. Moss looks good.
I’ve changed my favourite.....again. I really like the dude with the flowing black beard. Looks kinda piratey. Outta curiosity BAM, what do you use to paint inside your mini mouths? It’s my...
Your stormbird is really coming along Gorb. The red is looking good. Every time I airbrush something mechanical I always plan on making masks etc. but I seem to be too damn lazy. The Panzer Girl will...
The armour on your SOB is freaking awesome. Good job. You painting skills are really coming along.
You could also place the wing straight into a bowl of iced water as soon as you have positioned it. Just leave it in there for a few minutes. If it still drops down it might be something you are...
At the risk of sounding monotonous I have to agree that Cerberus is nicely painted. It looks like a mutated pissed off doberman. I really like the way the ship maiden is coming along too.
Man, the ridiculously small scale deserves extra points. I have a stack of gremlins I just look at cross eyed and never start. Really nice skin ekipage but the purple skirt takes the cake.
As the title says, I’m after a copy of the resin pirate bust Garfio from Spira miribilis. I wasn’t fast enough to catch a copy of this limited run and would still like to get hold of one. Would also...
The skin tones on your satyr are nicely done so far. The wood elves show that paint can make an average sculpt better.
The Nighthaunts look really good. I especially like the blue on the smoky tendrils.
The advance in your painting skills over such a short time is phenomenal. I can’t see the infinity minis properly they are so small so I can’t believe how well you paint them. Small surface area but...
The skin on Harald looks super nice. The way you have added the nuances to the skin, such as the red nose, really gives him some individuality.
Can’t wait to read your deathguard tute but your Khorne dudes are beginning to really take shape. The skin on Mr. Skullmask is looking fantastic and the Khorne branding on the chest of the guy...
I have to agree with ekipage on the Badger Stynylrez. It has never let me down shot through the airbrush but I’ve applied it numerous time with a brush and shows no brush strokes at all. Easily as...
That sounds like a really good idea for a diorama DaBeebs. You should give it a go. If you don’t think you can pull it off successfully then adapt it to what you can. Although you’d probably be...
Really nice work. Extreme weathering is top notch. Baldy looks like he has two goggle eyes on the ground underneath him looking up his loincloth. Now that I’ve seen it I can’t unsee it. Sorry John.
I usually like to err on the side of caution when heating resin by boiling a kettle then pouring the water into a container. The few seconds it takes to do this then dropping the part in takes away...
Search up some of the naval modelling sites. Modelwarships.com has a great forum I used a few years back and every person I asked a question was more than happy to help out.
As far as actual...
Oh your poor suffering wife!
I agree with your post. Rankings are a false sense of true placing in polls that compare products and why you should take ALL of them with a grain of salt. Sometimes it comes down to dumb luck....
The NMM work is absolutely epic and works so well with the red girly skirt ;). Is going to look sweet on the Darkstar plinth. Best thing about the plinths is that you don’t have to waste time on base...
Man, Janet’s eyes are better than mine and I’ve been painting since I was 16. ( I’m not going to mention that’s 32 years ago.)
In addition to Immortan’s suggestion of using a decal softener I’d also advise using a setting solution too. Used in combination they will assist in softening the decal up and improving the adhesion...
Most importantly....does it work still?
Edit : I use a Badger Krome myself but I imagine that all regulator caps for all airbrushes serve the same purpose and that is to protect the needle. I...
Top notch weathering as per usual. I don’t think any of those guys will be running anybody down. They all look pretty (h)armless to me.
Put a pledge in on Kickstarter for a couple of busts and this will be one of them.
If you keep the details a similar colour to the ship you can add a decent amount of said details. Wood and dull metals will allow the miniature to really jump out at viewers. The eye will instantly...
Since I bought the Scale75 paints both Scalecolour, fantasy and the War paint range they make (not too sure of its exact name) I have found a product that cuts down on problems with the paint...
The duel diorama looks fantastic. Loving the blue armour and the colour change on the staff. I feel out of place offering my thoughts on constructive criticism to such a good painter but the tire on...
Your titanicus look great. The ouroboros busts look good. The nocturna flesh set has given a fantastic finish to your skin work. A glow emanating from the cracks on Fractured would look good when...
The wash you have put on seems to have knocked the gloss back to more of a satin and the piece looks better for it. Gloss is great for knocked around gaming pieces but not so much for a display....
The best advice to give if you are worried about using the washes is to at first stick to the same colour as your paint. Slightly darker will yield best results. When you get the hang of that then...
This is where washes come into good use. One of the dark green citadel washes could be used to delineate where the green meets the great rock. Darker browns and black will give you shade on the rocks...
The dead skin on the brains eater looks awesome. Really like the eyes with the gloss varnish. Painting of the bikes is fantastic but the sculpts themselves remind me of the plastic little kiddy...
It’s obviously not do it yourself but Figone sell a few broken column pieces from various manufacturers. If you are thinking of making several dioramas then consider getting silicone molds and a big...
You would be better off getting the Series7 as the fuller belly can hold more paint and doesn’t dry out as easily....or they do with me anyways. I do find the miniature brushes I bought by mistake...
I too have never heard of the Talens Amsterdam paints but I have found that some of the cheaper craft paints tend to slide around on the mini rather than paint smoothly. They also have more chances...
I have a badger Krome but I can say that they are nice airbrushes. Very well balanced in the hand. Not sure how many models the feature of the small floating spray tip is on but to me it’s a slightly...
Insane in the brain.
If you are looking for basing tutorials you can’t go past Honourguard.
Fantastic base. I really like the cut out with the skulls. No wonder your mini has purple skin....I mean all that exposed skin and snow.
Really liking your loon boss although he looks like he could do with a improving his personal hygiene practices and maybe a can of Rexona. Toadstools look like something I had a conversation with one...
Adding the brighter congealed blood on the base certainly improved things. Looks great. Before it didn’t look right that the colour of blood on his axe and the ground were different when they both...
Not being able to find the arm for something mechanical isn’t a problem. It’s what military armour modellers call “battle damage”. It hides a multitude of sins.
Came. Saw. Voted. Commented.
Frankie and the mushie man are fantastic. It would be great to have a few different kinds of mushrooms and toadstools. You have to pick up the paintbrush again and paint them up. Let their story run...
Great Gellerpox squad. Looks really cohesive as a squad. Just still not as good as Janet’s minis. ;)
