Activation Phase - rules sequence

Hello,

I would like to ask about round sequence and how it ends.

My opponent and I has finish his/her activations, there is a new start of any - start of enemy turn for each player or the round ends immediately and we pass at the end of the round time zone, to resolve cards and abilities.

Option 01
A player - start of any turn timeline (no activations) pass, B player - start of any turn (no activations) pass, End of the Round time zone - New round.

Option 02
A player - start of any turn (no activation pass) B player start of any turn ( B player plays his last activation) immediately - End of round Timezone ( no start of any turn effects and abilities anymore) - New round.

So, my confusion is here:

When the last activation ends. Do we need to go to an other start of turn A player no activation - start of turn B player no activation. To end the round?

Thanks and I hope that my question is clear enough for you.

Option 2 is correct. at the end of either player's turn, once the LAST unit has been activated, the activation phase of the round ends immediately after that unit's player's End of Turn step and you go to the steps of the clean-up phase. then begin a new round.

one interesting thing to note, if player A has only 4 activations left for example, and player B has 7, player A will still have a Start of Turn and an End of Turn even when they are out of units to activate, as long as player B still has unactivated units on the table.

Sorry to thread necromancy, but how do you figure? The rulebook isn't written in a way that doesn't have *at least* one player starting a turn after the last activation has happened. In the actual step sequence, it doesn't say in the End of Turn sequence that you move to the Clean-Up Step if it was the last activation. In the Start of Turn section, it says specifically that Start of Turn effects are looked for "before anything else on a player's turn". So you clearly don't check last activation during the End of Turn step, and clearly Start of Turn effects happen before anything else on a player's turn, so those would happen before checking for all units having activated at the very least because the rulebook is actually explicit about that.
