Advanced space crusade

Anyone remember this? :)
I thought it was a great idea, but never got round to actually playing it :(
I have a couple of the old figures (Which were MUCH better than the original space crusade and space hulk figures)

I was just wondering if anyone had a copy of the old rules...?
I don\'t know how similar they were to 40k, but I know they were a lot more complicated than the original space crusade.

i had this and it was great fun. basically you had a revolving board (6 tiles and the tyranid player placed the next one when you moved out of the area) there were loads od objectives for the marine plater to destroy. i f i remeber it invoved d20s and you had to roll over the armour value to kill or wound the other side. i had lots of traps and random events.

it wasn\'t that complicated compared to 40k, more of a sci-fi dungeon crawl. it was damn good fun though.

Hey Advanced Heroquest was a great game especially the solo rules that showed you how to play with yourself... heh heh

Advanced space crusade was pretty good actually though I have to say I never liked the plastic tyrannids at the time. I still have my copy so I do still have the old rules too. I thought the scouts models were ok again for the time and if my memory serves it was the first time we had scene SM scouts. I liked the game alot along with Advanced Heroquest I would have to disagree with it being dull, a game is as interesting as you make it and with a few tweaks here and there even the most uninteresting game can become fun to play IMO.

Well, I guess we didn\'t give it enough time. The combats seemed to take forever with not a lot of anything else happening. The non advanced Heroquest flowed better and was good for a bit of fun. I still have Advanced Heroquest stored away.

I have copies of both Advanced Space Crusade and Tryranid Attack. I actualy picked them up while in Germany in the service in \'92 or so. Both are English.

I am not sure how folks would feel about \"copies\" being made so shoot me an email and we can work something out.
