Ainu's Mini of the Week: Epic (6mm) Fire Prism with L.E.D. electronics By Canucks Fan

A 6mm figure with LED's? Isn't a 28mm hard enough? I thought so, but now that I've seen Canucks Fan's Fire Prism from Epic 40k it seems that anything is possible.

The miniature in question is stunning for it's size, and my only critique is for a bit of a sharper paintjob, something more eye-catching. The base isn't anything too special, but it sets the mood of the prism speeding through a remote world's jungles. See? My imagination is running away with the model!

Now my lengthy praises..

First off, the use of diluted white paint (inspired by Kirill Kaneau) and a fine airbrush is pretty darn impressive for a 6mm model considering the quality. Then there's the tiny banners with the eldar symbols painted on; personally, I find the ability to do so is difficult to even comprehend.

And, the best is saved for the last. The most stunning touch, the LED lights in the prism cannon. I don't know anybody that wouldn't like to play against an army with such additions. The care and technicality of the operation are simply mind-boggling.

Congrats to Canucks Fan (Vancouver Canucks rule the NHL!) for a truly stunning miniature!

Ainu's Mini of the Week: Epic (6mm) Fire Prism with L.E.D. electronics By Canucks Fan receives 8.3/10.

Wow, thanks for the complements and praise :)
But I was wondering how to post additional pics of the LEDs in the cockpits and engines? If you look closely, you\'ll note that there are canopies over the cockpits, and there are some pilots inside.

I\'ve posted a link to my website that shows these pics, but I can\'t figure out how to add additional pics to the main view on the CMON page.

Sorry for all the questions, its my first time posting. (And its true, the Canucks will rule the NHL).

Cheers,CF:D:D
