As I don\'t see many versions of those done...
After that I was thinking about trying a willow, as I can\'t remember ever seeing one of those either...

I got an article from model railroader magazine on making giant redwoods (about 4\' tall when you finish with them).
I\'d hate to have to carry them from game table to game table.

Yikes - I\'ve just been pondering about how to construct the willow foliage, and it\'s a bit of a nightmare lol...

ALSO - as I can\'t travel out right now, can someone quickly tell me - is willow bark rough or smooth...?

As I remember it\'s quite smooth and greyish in colour right?

For my point foliage always seems to get the sticks in my wheels for any tree-making. About willow bark; google is your friend

I would very much like to see your ways of making lasting foliage of good quality. Being a hobbyist of painting rather than gaming I want a few good looking trees instead of 20 shitty ones

I think \"lasting\" and \"Good quality\" aren\'t necessarily best of friends

You can easily pick up a few plasticcy trees that\'ll last, but they usually look just that - plasticcy...

Like most of us here, I will be using pretty simple and easy to find stuff, and just trying my best to make it look authentic... But that means that it will most likely end up being quite fragile... Without access to expensive equipment anyway
