Pictures would definately help. It's extremely hard to visualize how this would look. Also it may be worth noting that GW just cancelled all their Inks so this technique won't last for long if you need those specific colours and consistencies.

Yes, I know exactly the colour and sheen you get from this kind of mixing of metalics and various inks. Very glad you shared this with us. Worth a ten for the effort, just ignore the numpties.

Reads interesting. As all the others siad pictures would be nice, but I guess I give it a try into the blind =) .
Well GW stops there inks, but relating on my nose, I think their are just normal coloured inks you also use for pens. So you can also use them and they are way more cheaper.
