I'm doing an army soon, I like you technique - Simple painted layers without blending. I was contemplating doing a lot of dry-brushing for speed, I like your way better. Do you ever finish up the bright layering with a glaze?

I definately enjoy reading your articles. Its like waiting for the next white dwarf to come out every month. I have thousands of points worth of dwarfs and reading this article is getting me all excited to paint them! You should write one using orcs or kroot some time too :)

Nice article, with some pretty handy little tips there,if you dont mind me saying though,i feel your reds would look nicer if used scorched brown instead of black in the basecoat stage, ive used this for years, and it gives much warmer reds(and wouldnt slow down the speed painting process!)
