Hey guys, I managed to paint up a couple of my new figures this week, and I thought you might like to check \'em out.

First one is Asheara, the Elf Ranger. Hopefully the painted version gives a bit more of a sense of the details and all that! Criticisms are welcome of course, but don\'t worry too much about technique...it\'s really just meant for advertising, haha  Hope you like her though, all the same!

I went with a pretty classic forest colour scheme, to fit with t he \'ranger\' character...hopefully that works ok. And it\'s a foresty sort of base too, jsut to make sure! ;)

here\'s a CMON gallery link:http://www.coolminiornot.com/234587

And jsut a reminder that she is about 29mm, and the casts are white metal. The original was sculpted with pro-create, milliput and greenstuff.

And the second one is Nagrot Crook-Eye, a goblin boss. Good fun painting this one! I\'ll have to do some more gobbos. I guess the colours I went with in the end are slightly unconventional...I mean, red is usually the obvious choice, but I decided not to use it this time. So he\'s got those purplish bits, and the yellow, and the orange/flesh colour for some leather parts - I reckon it looks ok anyway. Hopefully it shows him off well enough to get a few more sales, in any case! haha

He\'s 23mm.

They are available now through my website (Guild of Harmony shop), and should also be in the CMON store within the next week or so, and some other stores in Europe as well.

Thanks guys, hope you like \'em. :)

The Elf is cool but not the sort of thing I\'d buy personally but the Goblin is awesome and a definite on my to buy list.

There seems to be something amiss with the posture of the elf chick, I think it\'s her shoulder of the bow arm , there\'s not enough tension. The gobbo\'s fantastic, haven\'t seen a better example for a long time.
Great painting on both of them

I think the main problem with the elf chick, as with the headtaker priestess you did for Myrmidon, is that the torso is too long in relation to it\'s width, or convexly that the arms and head are too large in proportion to the torso-legs, it just unbalances the figure a bit. Can\'t fault the quality of the actual sculpting though, but the proportions just strike me as a tad off.

Goblin is fantastic, but perhaps not quite as smooth (in terms of painting) as your other work, the transition into shading on the belly in particular, but overall this is a minor niggle.

Good stuff overall ;)

Both are sculpted very nicely but I think the elf is a bit stiff and look a bit \"posed\" meaning it looks like she\'s merely posing with the bow then being on the verge of firing it. The gobbo is really cool! Love that one.

Paintwise are both very fine works as usual and highten the minis even further.
