As it's the festive season I thought I would release a few illustrations showcasing Ax Faction 2013 miniatures, by guest artists and friends of Ax Faction! The first here is the Highland Ranger & Warhound (based on our very own dog Merry!) - Orc Hunters. The scabbards of her twin Uruk hunting swords and supplies are strapped to her faithful companion, complete with Ax logo like Broadfoot's harness. There are plenty of details that nod to the Scottish Highlands like the antlers, thistle and sporran style pouch.
'I follow this path with controllable wrath, hunting Greenskins of curse. Orcs, Uruks, Goblinkin all – killers and evokers of worse!'

So, as it's Christmas let me introduce you to another rather portly and jolly fun fellow - Friar Gam & Chutney the Cherub - Ghost Chasers! 'With the power of mead he shall succeed!' Gam is based on a rather fun RPG character of mine and he is often more sozzled than a pickled herring, leaving Chutney to tail behind with the enchanted hammer and puffing on his favoured pipe!
