We had a band saw where I used to work, I asked the operator to cut some bits of wood for bases during lunch, he cut his whole thumb off, maddest thing I ever did see, he was actually howling like a dog and leaping around. Myself, I had a scalpel roll of the table and stick in my foot, I thought it would miss when I moved quick, I moved right into its path, hurt more pulling it out than it did on the way in, I also had another funny when I went to blow the static grass of a fig, half of the tub I was holding beneath went in my eyes had to go to hospital for that, it burns like you wouldnt believe.

Dremel tool with a circular saw in it going real fast . I slipped, dropped it while it was running and caught it by the blade. OWIE.

My friends grandfather has cut off his thumb 3 times and had it reattachted all 3 times and still somehow works, I even saw it and believed it because of three serperated scars

Took a tip off of my pinky finger on a router table making a plinth.

3 stitches in a finger from a craft knive while cutting foam.

but those are not my worst damage, just my worst mini-related damages.

:p

and some of you need to take better care of your lungs:
inhaling sand can result in silicosis.
inhaling superglue fumes in really not good at all.

Ok, this is my first posting on the forum, so I think it should be something every one will remember. I just finished detaling a book with a tech-pen, (the kind with the sharp needle like point) I set the pen down to inspect my work and it rolled off the table, so I caught it point first. Every time I look at my right palm I see a little black dot tatooed there

My sister, who is now 49 still has a small black mark in the middle of her hand from where, in kindergarden, she got stuck with a pencil and the lead broke off.

I\'ve sometimes forgotten that I\'m holding a knife instead of a brush, and put it in my mouth and licked it. Luckily I haven\'t cut my tounge yet!

He hey! I can vouch for this.
Years ago, my Dad, in what was a fine piece of Yorkshire resourcefulness, was making me and my brother a cricket bat using the circular saw in his shed.
He managed not only to saw his thumb clean off, but pick it up (with the other hand!!!) drive to the hospital 5 miles away and go inside and say\" Excuse me, can you re-attach this for me.\"

Still working perfectly to this day.
