Hy there,
thats my latest pice of work and I did the best I can... So what dou you say. What should I have made different / better?
While looking at the mini I would say, I should have made more washes for the skin tone.

Here is the link to the beastlord:

The skin tone looks ok.
But what I find difficult is the collage that you have used.
I find it distracting and doesn\'t allow my eye an easy start point to look properly at the mini. It also reduces the size that you are able to display the mini.

I like it. nice color selection and well painted. Im not fussed on the fancy stuf as Dragonsreach has said but the painting is very good.

I wanted to show the beastlord from different angles, so I made this collage. I still have some \"standard\" pics. :D

I like the white cloth on him, but I think the grey fur and the chainmail seem too close in color. Changing one of those would make the mini \'pop\' more. But still, very solid job.

Nice solid paint job....but for my tastes i would like to see more contrast in the horns, darker colour at the base may be? and some weathering on the armour to give it a lived in look.. as i said my tastes only.ps how`s Paderborn these days? i used to live in Sennelager......small place this world we live in. :D

What do you mean by \"darker colour at the base\"? The grey-tones at the base?

I washed the armour several times with dark red-brown ink to darken it. Hm, I thought it would be dark enough. But I don\'t have much expirence with bronze-armour, so what do you suggest...

*LOL* Thats funnny, I know Sennelager (lived several years in \"Schloss-Neuhaus\"). What did you do in Paderborn? Let me guess: Army?

nope...... a rockstarlol
darker around the base of the horns dark brown/black blending up to the bone colour. The armour? try a wash of thin jade green it gives it a nice weathered look, flesh wash/black wash on the axe. The base is nice as is hope this helps. :D
