Beware Of This Trader On E-bay

I recently won this item on e-bay that was also a featured auction here too

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=300185951765&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=020

I paid via paypay directly after the auction ended and eagerly awaitd the arrival of the mini. To this date I have not had any item arrive here and I have e-mailed this seller on several occaisions to no avail.
I am now about to start a dispute through paypal but I am having to wait until a set time until I can begin it,
Has anyone else had experiene with this person if so how did it turn out for you.
I am completely pissed off with this as the item was not cheap and to not respond to e-mails after this amount of time I think is not on at all.

Sorry to rant but I am partly hoping this thread will draw his attention. :cussing::flame:

Hate it when that happens.
Can\'t be too careful.
Sorry to hear, though I haven\'t had dealings with them myself.

Good luck, and hopefully it gets resolved, let us know!

Tim, I looked at his feedback. He\'s selling about 10 a month. With that volume, unless your system is down pat, something will happen. Looks like you may have been that something.

65 sales in the last 6 months with one neutral and one withdrawn.

Odd that email won\'t get it sorted out. Press on with paypal and that will get his attention when they freeze the account.

Thanks for the rplies, @airhead I went ahead with the sale on the strength of his feedback. That is what is so annoying I can understand that things take a while especially as it was the Christmas period at the time, and that it is a long way from there to here but to not answer e-mails is just down right rude. Especially as at the time there were other auctions for minis that finished after this one was due too and therefore he must have been into his account. Also demanding in my case payment within three days and in the case of the other auctions immediate payment and then not having the decency to correspond I find is less than honourable. As soon as the time limit is expired the dispute progress will begin.

You right, but Christmas is an interesting time... I ordered something from Forgeworld two months ago... it is hardly an e-bay outfit... Last time I called they said that they have three items out of four ordered and are not ready yet to ship a complete order... TWO MONTHS.

There is another place on e-bay that I order frequently from where completing order also takes 1.5-2 months. At this point I am used to it and don\'t even complain much :)

This guy is very slow, takes about 3-4 weeks to get the figure, I did get the one I ordered but no base as yet!

Have not left feedback yet as the deal isn\'t finished in my eyes!

I\'ve had a few awful delays with stuff I\'ve sent out a lately..generally just the xmas rush.. Have you used a translator programme to send the complaint to him in spanish..Might sound silly but it\'s helped me out a few times....
good luck and hope ya get it as I\'d love to see your metallics on this one...

been thinking of picking one up myself ....good luck..

I would be annoyed with the slow email as well, but it\'s only been like three weeks since you won the item, during holiday season, from a seller not even in your country.

The title of the thread lead me to believe this was going to be a case of fraud. So, you make it look like a guy is defrauding you on a website he also is a member of, when in reality it may be slow shipping; which while annoying, I think most people would agree that slow shipping is not in any way the same as fraud.

In a nutshell, IMO you are overreacting in dragging this guy through the mud on a public forum at this point. Of course if he\'s still not answering emails, and you don\'t get your item in a few more weeks, it might be a different story.
