Bird Wing Photo Resource

I found this site when I was looking for ideas for painting an angel\'s wings, and I thought other people might find it useful too. It has hundreds of photos of the backs and fronts of wings from a huge number of bird species.

:bouncy: Lol, it would be, if I were Wren the bird. But as I\'m Wren the Bard, I\'m okay with it. ;-> Though if that weren\'t an .edu site, it\'d be really creepy just on principle.

(Wren the Bard was the first RPG character I ever purchased a mini for, although someone else painted it.)

I\'m bookmarking this one.
I usually use Peterson\'s World of Birds book for images but they are all drawings. Of course that does make the colors more discernable.

*oooh, that site said BOOBIES!*lol

Yeah, all the talk round here is about boobies. We\'ve all seen the greater boobies and the red boobies, even the blue breasted boobies around, but now we have a link to check out boobies anytime we want.....

I hope these birds died naturally. I have this disturbing image of a University Prof. running around with a hatchet in a forest somewhere.... Or am I thinking of my Acting teacher again? :p
