Hey there :D

You may remember a post about seeking Mordheim Kislev minis... Well, I tried UK Mail Order today. They\'re all out. :(

American GW has also taken them off its shelves. I\'ve now searched all the European GWs too, and Canada GW is the only one left; but they won\'t ship to the UK :(

So... it\'d be FANTASTIC if someone who lives in Canada could make the following order for me, and ship it to me here in the UK :D

Surely you could wait until they were in stock again. It might be a bit easier, or do you need them right away?

No, I surely could not wait. They have taken them out of production :( That\'s why Canada is the only option.

I don\'t know... certainly OOP in the UK, and the other GWs seem to gradually be following suit (some of the European ones have a few minis from the Kislev Mordheim range but noth the ones I want). This is the email I got from the GW UK guys when ordering my Kislev halberd for Lord Casor a few months ago (which was successful, so I was surprised when they said the Kislev captain couldn\'t be done).

Thanks for your email. A little while ago, the whole of the specialist games range of miniatures was given a review and many of the models were retired from service here in the UK. These included the old metal Orlocks and Goliaths for Necromunda, the old metal Human Bloodbowl team, a selection of alterative troop types for Warmaster, a few of the henchmen in Inquisitor and a few of the warbands from Mordheim including the Ostlanders, Averlanders and the Kislev. It may be possible that these models may be re-introduced into the range in the future but for the moment there is nothing planned.



We have removed it from our Online Store so no one can accidentally order a discontinued model (it will not appear in your shopping cart or if it does it says it is not available) but it looks like we have not removed all the links to the page it was on. I can only apologise for any confusion this may have caused.



The only methods I could possibly suggest for trying to get hold of this model would be internet auction websites like Ebay, independent stockists that deal in second hand Games Workshop models and books or even through the Games Workshop US Online Store.

Hmm..

If I bought you this, would you be able to pay me back somehow? I\'m broke right now but will have that much money in about a week or less. I may be able to send it without you having to pay anything back, but I have to talk to my parents.

Geez, I made an order with Gw a few days ago, and had inflate it in order to skip the shipping fees... If I only knew:(

I can check in with GW on Monday, make sure they have them.

So you don\'t get 4 of 5 Canadians ordering these for you, ya better pick someone to do the deed. I\'m willing and able if you want.

they had this great idea in the uk of making certain lines unavailable for a year.

then the following year, some are put back and others are removed for a year.

way to kill of specialist games gw.

@Ainulainour: Yes, the idea was to pay you back, I wasn\'t expecting them free! :p If you have paypal that shouldn\'t be a problem.

I just received a PM from Demonherald, and he apparently may have the components spare. As he lives in England, this would be a lot easier for me, but he\'s going to double check... however, I\'ll take you up on the offer if this does not work out. MPJ, it sounds from your post that it would be the most convenient for you to do it, so if you have paypal I am also willing and able should Demonheralsd\'s offer fall through :)

No worries Bill I have found some of the Kislev stuff and will check rest of boxes during today.....

if you still haven\'t got them when you go to hq for the winners day, you could show them a pic of what you need and see if they have any spare.

Sure am if need be. Sent you a PM, send me one back if it\'s a go, I\'ll get them through the local GW store to save the first leg of shipping (they tell me there if I want anything that is \'mail order only\' I just gotta ask them and they will get it with their normal shipments for me).
