Celeborn GDLA Silver

This little guy got me a silver at GDLA. He was another fun one to paint. If I had to do it again, I would clean up the blends on the freehand on the backside of his cloak.

The face looks a little flat, maybe some more shadows? The rest is great. Your bases are fantastic.

The base is a mashed up bit of super sculpy. Basically I made a round bit of sculpey to look like bricks or cobblestone and then smashed it with a hammer and glued half of them to the back side of the base. For the front side I cut a hole in the base and made a little pool with brown stuff which I later filled with epoxy to make the little pond. The rest are little bits of twigs that I found as well as some sculpted vines growing up on the bricks. Oh and of course some dirt for ground cover. Thats it, real quick and easy.

The face doesnt look right but I think thats more to do with the sculpt. Awesome job. Love the color selection and the freehand. The Hair is especially well done.
