Celtos Commission Log

I have had to put Medusa aside for a little while as I have just had a commission come in for over 20 Celtos miniatures that the customer wants asap plus another one for 12 Space Marines as well. I have done the first two Celtos figs and will be starting the next one today, the bases are not done yet, they will be done when I have a few finished to make the basing job less tedious.

Wow, these guys look awesome! The flesh looks so realistic, actually everything looks so realistic...I'm a fan of this look more than the extreme range between highlight and shadows that seems to dominate a lot of what I see on here. I truly aspire to be able to paint like this someday. I'll also second SkelettetS's question about the photos...how did you get such great pictures?

Cheers guys, no special setups for photos here no light boxes or anything like that I just use a method that I got from an article on here which is basically just using a flourescent light angled directly overthe camera and facing towards the mini, I am currently about half way through the next one of the warband and will post when it is done.

The paint work is clean and crisp colors are good, i would try to do some Celtic basket-weaving on the cloth parts if possible.
and SkelettetS is right about the one sculpt the anatomy on it is real weird especially at the waist area
Beyond that i will wait for the next photos...
