World of Minis Painting Contest Chaotic Creations
I am pleased to announce the next Worldofminis painting contest will soon be open. The contest is planned to start on September 1st and will close at midnight GMT October 12th. These times are not extendable any entries not submitted by that time will not be allowed.
The theme for the contest is Chaos, there will be two categories 1st, 2nd and 3rd in both fantasy and sci-fi. Works in progress will be allowed if the entrant so wishes but the work should be something new or at the very least close to completion by the opening date of the contest.
your entry can be anything from a single figure to a viginette/ diorama containing a number of models in either category. Entrants my only enter once per category but you may take multiple views of your entry to show it to its best advantage.
Entrants should be registered members of the site and the same will go for the judging of the contest.
All entrants should host there entries in off site image hosting accounts such as photobucket and then send the image tags to me via e-mail or the personal messaging system on the site.
Once closed the entries will be placed in a voting thread, this thread will then be open for voting for one week and the winners announced thereafter. The winning entries will go into the hall of fame.
There will be prizes for this contest sponsors will be announced as they are confirmed.
In the event of a tie the admin will decide the outcome, any decisions made are final and we will not enter into any discussion about such decisions.
All that remains for me to say is have fun and good luck. I look forward to seeing the entries as they come in.
