Gonna be tight...

Man Vince, you are gonna finish four? You machine you... lol

I\'m trying to get my Paintaid minis finished, and I\'m not sure if I\'m going to get the CCV mini done or not. I\'m having trouble with the small waterfall on the base. First time using Water Effects and I just don\'t have the hang of it yet. When is the deadine for submission, is it the 21st? If so I may end up having to submit the mini without the base which would suck... :(

the due date is the 20th i believe

and mines gunna be tight finish too....

@grumb- you better not be doing the same thing im doing...i have to finish the water effects tongiht :D

Thanks Becca. Doubt we\'re doing the same thing. I had kind of an odd idea for my base, fueled by my accident previously mentioned. We\'ll have to see how it goes.

@Supervike - \"maybe it\'s just one of them weird \'southern\' ways...like how ya\'ll call all soda pop \"coke\"...\"

what\'s wrong with that? :p

2 things:
1- there are advantages to painting the extremely small minis

2- I never said they would be good.:D

What does that mean, vike? Where I grew up in Texas we called all carbonated beverages \"coke\". As in \"What kind of coke do you want? I\'ve got Coke, Sprite, or Grape Nehi.\"

When I moved to Oregon I had to adjust to calling all those things \"pop\" instead.

I\'m pleased to say that I\'ve managed to get TWO entries nearly done, they\'ll both be done by the 20th for sure *knock knock* One is unique - as far as I know the only one of its kind entered. It bugs me that I won\'t be able to post them here until the contest is done... they are both so cool!

I\'ve got two entries, one is finished and submitted. The second, I\'m still working on the base. Trying to get the hang of WS water products. Struggling with Realistic Water at the moment and then it\'s on to Water Effects. If you people have stolen my idea I won\'t be happy!! :~( ;)

I just got my one and only entry done, I think it should be something fairly fun, although a bit complex to photograph right...I may take the remaining 6 days just to get that right! All these darn lighting effects seem to look great in person and just never come across right somehow in a photo. I\'ll get it though. ;)

I agree that it is a bit of torture not being able to post it here for another 3+ weeks, but I think I\'ll survive...somehow.

All of mine are unique! Well, one of them started out looking like someone else\'s but the finished product will be very different.

Sad to say, the reason there are over 500 entries in this one is that, barring Jason Moses winning the lottery and retiring to a life of leisure, it is probably the last. Everyone who kept saying \"Oh, I should really enter something this year\" finally... did.

Shame really...

Its a shame that this is the last one as it really is a fun little competition.

I applied the Water Effects to my base last night and when I checked it this morning it looked like crap! Now I gotta cut it off and start over again! :flame: There\'s got to be a secret to using this stuff, just haven\'t figured it out yet. The Realistic Water is fairly easy to use, but messy.

Hope I can get this done in time... :(

Astonia, you\'re submitting three? Although it doesn\'t surprise me -- you\'ve been working very productively lately.

I\'ve only submitted one -- loads of work, so I don\'t have much time to paint. But it\'s almost done, so I\'m quite happy.

I painted a girl all blue last year, won in my category, and didn\'t get a prize. What did I do wrong ? ???
