So I\'ve got too many nice miniatures just begging to be painted. What does one do with nice miniatures? I used to like tearing them from their plastic and card prisons and cleaning them before losing interest, until I realised this is not a clever way to keep ones skill or level of fun very high on the nonexistant scale which I like to call \"My scale of fun and skill\" in which I would fail...
BUT I DIGRESS!
Oh, and I got a tripod...
Note: Had to sharpen the pictures and they\'re taken at a funny angle considering the lightsource.
I\'ve had this lying around for a while (got it from SilAx a while back) and was looking forward to painting it. I wanted really desaturated, clown-like colours that reflected the work on Kosta\'s \"Faust\" and Jeremie\'s harlequin troupe master.
I\'ve been aiming for a better feel of texture on the knight, which hasn\'t really benefitted the picture-taking process as in the clothing looks practically like it was just basecoated (not IRL) and the metals look super deep (intentional, IRL).
Sculpted the tree in sections .. UGHhh... it took about 30 minutes-2hours a day for a week (including refining the base for the knight\'s placement).
