This just came up on GW forums, thought I should bring people\'s attention to it:

\"The entries are anonymous as far as the judges are concerned. They have no way of knowing that a model was handed in \"by proxy\" or by multiple entrants. That\'s the only way we can assure the integrity of the judging system.
If there have been infractions then it has occured as part of the booking-in process (to which the judges have no access).

If you have any evidence of apparent rule breaking, please forward it to the events toeam who will make sure I am made aware.
This forum is not an appropriate place for discussing rules infractions, and I\'m not going to get involved in discussions around this, so I\'ll now lock this thread.

Does anyone have the evidence? Not to start another catfight, but the issue here is whether Russian Guy will be disqu\'d, Sven will get his Silver, and anonymous gets his Bronze.

Cheers

Some members of the Russian mafia stormed the stage while the prize winners were having photos taken. They made off with the slayer sword and several trophies.

I\'m not sure why you\'re expecting a controversy or brawl? The last brawl had nothing at all to do with the actual thing happening.. which was cleverly pointed out several times in that thread.

I was just about to post my remaining minis.. :) then I\'m off to Sebastian.

Hope this issue is settled soon. It kinds of detracts from the competition itself.

Actually, I was thinking of Chucklevision. That\'ll at least keep the coffin dogers amused, and out of everyone\'s hair, for a bit.

Apparently, theyre\'s LOTS of evidence from the \'winner\' himself, who openly admits entering via proxy, however, all of it in Russian.

I don\'t think the judges will do anything about this particular case, however, I sincerely hope that they will take some action to prevent such kind of a thing from happening again.

Shall I delete it?

I just thought it\'s be worth bringing to the attention of everyone that the Tom fellow has made that statement, and as the old thread was (rightfully) closed, this was the best I could do :]

Have a very Large rotten tomato, propelled from my combination zimmer frame trebuchet.
Chuckle vision indeed! :p

In one respect I\'m glad to see that GW are taking complaints and responding in a unbiased manner, as yet neither confirming or denying any allegations. The results we will await.
Yet on the other hand as a GD competitor I\'m also dissatisfied that what should be an \"Above Board\" competition gets mired down in allegations and breaches of the rules.
As has been pointed out GW need to standardise their rules worldwide and ensure that there can be no misinterpretations. (Yeah, like that\'s gonna Happen in my lifetime. Oh hang on a minute, I\'m gonna live forever, too many mini\'s to paint before I can die.)

My opinion on that hilarious thread hijack is simple. One did it and got away with it, the other tried (despite reading the rules) and got refused and backed down immediately. Can\'t fault any of that logic. The one question burning my frazzled brain is this - if the GD rep/judge/fella in influence said yes, no problem, Yellowfellow\'s piece will be handed in through me, say no more, wink wink, nudge nudge, your wife into sport is she? etc., would Margo have allowed it to proceed? This is a straight-forward question with no points scored. What say you Margo?

And all that jazz on the bloody thread, buttering the two lasses up as beauties...you want to see my girlfriend - she\'s a smasher. I\'d not touch those two with a barge pole! lol lol

But really, it does grate. So what if they are attractive? Who gives a flying foobar?
