Hello everyone,

Just finished my Alahan Mounted Standard bearer, and would love to get some feedback on it, especially tips on improving. He\'s the fifth mini i\'ve painted, and I can use all the criticism I can get, hehe.

Also, I could use some ideas on basing him, I was kinda thinking a muddy battle feild look, but since i\'ve never based a mini before, I figured I might as well wait a while.

Would like to see more

Could you scan it again using a white background? The colors are a little hard to see with the black background. The reds especially look kind of muted - bet they are much brighter IRL.

The highlighting on the horse\'s mane and tail look pretty good. I\'d like to see a bit more shading on the standard. Are you going to add any details to the motif on the standard?

Looks like you did a lot of hard work on this.

Well from what I can see it looks good, especially the blue cloak.
The GW website has articles on basing models, worth a look.
