i have several pics uploaded on CMON now, and to be honest, i don´t understand how some people vote *g*

This Irix http://www.coolminiornot.com/index.php?id=5526 is one of my best minis i´ve painted so far, but it´s falling and falling and .... in the notes. Last was about 1-3 *g*
Yeah i know, there are several jerks out there, who vote crap. But i´d really like to know, whats wrong with this mini, btw. to say it with someone elses words, what holds the mini back?

just be patient Chern Ann mentioned that once you reach over 100 votes than your score will be more stable.

Your irix is great. I can\'t do any better than that. Right now your score is 8.3 for that fig, regardless on how many crappy voters out there, the truth opinion of your work quality will come out. Just give it a time

I\'d say it\'s the photograph. It\'s not as crisp and clean as others, and takes away from the good work you\'ve done on the miniature.

Your mini is pretty good, and the photo is not worse that others I have seen. On a side note, the muzzle of the mini is cream colored, giving it a look of some kind of bovine. In real life wolves and most other canids have black/dark muzzles. When I first saw it, I tought it was some kind of beastman shaman, like the one New Wave is promoting right now, but then read the comments and realized it was one of those fearsome wolfen.

the pic is ok i think, maybe it lost some quality cause of shrinking (is about 50% of the original size now)
I made a better pic, but i see no way, to change it. Maybe it´s just because im stupid, or this function does not work *g*
Anyone got a solution fpr this?

Replacing pic

I guess the only way you can replace your pic is to delete the current one and upload the new one. That\'s how I did mine, unless there\'s another way that I don\'t know

ok i replaced the image. I don´t know, if it is better now, but it´s a bit sharper and bigger ....

It is a good mini, and I wish I knew the tricks you have forgotten about painting. that said, do not take it too seriously. I am being quite honest here, this is for fun. If you take it too seriously well not worth it.

Hey some of my minis look better in person than they are doing... the photos do not do them that much justice.

Now the tricks I have gotten from reading articles and talking to people are very good and useful. unfortunately not very usable with the kids who were are teaching how to paint. Somethign about patience, so we are sticking to the most basic of techniques.

With so nice comments, i don´t mind the rating any more.

I was just a bit disappointed at first, cause i have minis here, which i don´t like this much, getting same or better ratings. A bit confusing for me, but you´re right, the rating doesn´t matter

Well Goatman the ratesing are skewed. There is not much that can be done about that.
