OK, my old 2gb nano got broken, so I replaced it with a 30gb video. Just recently I have been appreciating the actual video facility, and by sticking together a few utilities I\'ve found a way of efficiently getting videos from youtube to iPod - you can find a few tutorials on the net, but they asked me to do some funny things that didn\'t work
I found this the simplest, and just thought it might come in useful for people
1. Copy youtube (or for that matter any other site) url of the video you want to download, eg. http://youtube.com/watch?v=AO9dbmJ_2zU and paste into http://javimoya.com. Then download - it will appear as \"get_video\", rename it as [anyfilename].flv.
2. Go to http://www.isquint.com/ and download the program (it has quite a good sense of humour).
3. Drag your .flv file(s) into iSquint and convert; add them to iTunes, drag to your iPod, and you\'re done
Hope that\'ll come in handy for someone
*edit* You can download videos in the right format from google videos, but youtube has a much larger range, so that\'s why I wanted to get stuff off there
