Oh dear this has got a bit heated, hasn\'t it? Not sure I want to get involved at all, but in an effort to lighten it up a bit, I just thought I\'d add my comments from a \'girl\' point of view...

I\'m not into cars- ask Jondalar, he\'s seen the state of my \'mode of transport\'- as long as it starts, goes where I want it to, fits a couple of bales of hay for the horse in the back and doesn\'t cost the earth, that\'s all I\'m interested in.

But I LOVE top gear, I watch it every week, sometimes even twice- good old BBC have such cr*p on at the moment, they repeat it in the week

It\'s pure escapist entertainment, and gives political correctiveness and environmentalists the bird regularly.... how very refreshing.

Oh, and as for Richard Hammond, to prove that I am a \'typical\' female...

I watched this and fully understood why the Alabamans were angry.
These three guys came up with every stereotyped insult they could think of. They were trying to be insulting, and the Alabamans knew that.
To me, it shows these guys had far less intelligence than the Alabamans, to drive into a town where they knew that they would be insulting, stereotyping, and generally condescending to the populace. Even if they are not a \"bunch of Retards\" as NSA put it, you are showing them that\'s exactly what you think they are.

How bout you? I seem to remember something about the lower mainland area, but it\'s been a while. I\'m actually in Victoria right now, going to UVIC, although I can\'t wait to get home for the summer.
