'Courage' - Hanako from Hasslefree

Hy there,

at last I had the time to make some pictures of my last project: 'Hanako' from Hasslefree.
The mini was quite fun to paint, like all minis from Kev. I just added some decoration to her hair, otherwise she is out of the box.
I wanted to try some new things with the water effect so I built a small pond-base. You can see some WIP pictures in my WIP-threat over here:

i adore this! the bubbles that are there, are in all the right places. the small things like butterflies, plants and fishes really make it look alive!

Great job! Looks amazing, the tight freehands even fall away to the background with all the detail you put in this little piece of art. I like that you have thought about lighting the figure up on the bridge, I mean that the bridge gets lighter towards the figure, laying focus on it and keeping the small details on the base as small

Really brilliant, the water effects look very realistic - colours look perfect. The bridge and scenics are colourful and complement the minis - it all gels together lovely. Nice freehand to!

There are a bit too many bubbles in the water, but they appeared as I mixed the colors in. But I thought some bubbles would be ok since there are so many plants and fish in the pond.
