Hy there,

here is my last miniature. It is a pirate from Black Scorpion and it was fun to paint it. :)
I managed to complete this mini in one week because I wanted to enter it in a spezial \"Pirate\" contest. So I had a quiete close deadline... :D

lovely NMM and the blending on the cloak and reds is great!

The base with a cannon ball is a neat touch! I like the wood as well. Excellant mini :)

Lovely NMM, like the cannonball in the deck. Could maybe do with some dust/staining on the coat though. Voted!:D

His name is Samuel Bellamy, his nickname is Black. What is there that\'s confusing? Or are you just being an ignorant Englishman and beefing that Germans have a different way of displaying quotation marks? ;)

And yup, it\'s a fine bit of work, if a little too clean for a pirate in my humble opinion, but the ultra clean finish does seem to be your style.

I\'m digging the cannonball and map on the base too.

I too love the work, especially the nice touches on the base, and agree that a \"proper\" pirate would probably be much dirtier...

Maybe he\'s more of a privateer... :p

It\'s OK, I\'m an ignorant Englishman too. English ignorance is traditional anyway, particularly when it comes to Ze Germans! ;)

Yes they do... OK you got me. :rolleyes: I tried to be \"international\" and wrote \"Cpt.\" not \"Kapitän\" on the sign but forgot that \"ze german\" windows programs automatically begin the quotation marks at the bottom...
Well, to bad... :]

Well, my European cousin...

I\'m afraid under EU policy, that sword would have to go - you\'ll have someone\'s eye out with that!

And a flintlock?? Dear me no! You\'ll give health and safety a heart attack! Far too much risk of a black powder accident.

And those wooden decks need sanding by a qualified carpenter and sealing to prevent water damage and splinters.

And a barrel of rum? Dear me no... lol

Oh rather, and I do say, that\'s a jolly nice spot of painting Crackpot my dear boy, Jolly dapper little fellow isn\'t he, rather.
and I must say I do like those spiffy little details you\'ve added to the base, they\'re just dandy, haw haw haw.
