Been thinking about this for a while now...
Got the chapter badge sorted, and working on a colour scheme, etc

Just need a hand with the name.

I wanted to be able to use some of the space wolf figures and addons (ie. tails etc), but not wolves, but foxes.

I had a few ideas, but would appreciate some help:

Iron/Steel foxes
Shadow foxes
Vulpes Imperialis
Fox guard

And some more I can\'t remember right now.
And yes - the colour scheme WILL incorporate orange :p

Ok, just taking some common chapter names and mixing them up:

Star Foxes
War Foxes
Storm Foxes
Imperial Foxes
Celestial Foxes
Avenging Foxes
Heralds of Vulpinus

I am NOT giving them two tails that allow them to fly. This is NOT sonic :p lol

However, here\'s a rough colour scheme:

@ Roger - again - I don\'t know what you\'re talking about! ??? lol
Is this some allusion to Irwin Rommel...?

Anyhoo - if you\'re wanting some background, then I am using the stereotypical characteristics OF foxes for their tactics - ie. Speed and stealth and preference for Close combat.

I have yet to think of a back story for this, but thinking about Rommel HAS got me thinking about having some sort of pseudo-Rommel persona in the chapter as a master tactician...

Maybe they should have giant testicles like Japanese raccoon dogs:

They could use them as melee weapons:

I don\'t think true kitsune fly with their tails. The more tails it has, the older and wiser it is. One with nine is over 1000 years old. Course, at nine tails it should be white or gold.

Okay, I\'m trying to paraphrase several pages of Wikipedia. Maybe ya should take a look yourself. Awful lot of good things about kitsune (loyal, intelligent, etc). Especially around the Inari foxes.

NSA, err, don\'t know what to say about that. Someone was partaking in some illicit substance when they thought that one up.

Dan, no, the proto-germanic thing has nothing to do with Rommel. The word Fox, derives from the old English word of the same spelling which in turn derives from the proto-germanic word fukh. Obviously that could be awkward when introducing your chapter to people. ;)

The onyx foxes
the stone foxes
steel foxes
iron foxes
gold foxes
silver foxes....

the list goes on...

I think PegaZus ha thrown up some cool ideas - you should definately have more tails the higher ranked a model is, and paint HQ with white and/ or gold/yellow armour.

I\'m sorry, I don\'t have any suggestions for names though:(

Nope, their magical scrotums are a traditional Japanese belief :D So at the most, someone had too much sake.
